Not all silos are suitable for all types of storage. Are you storing liquids, or raw materials in powder form? Do you have plenty of space, or is space limited? Royal Kaak has silos for every form of storage: stainless steel storage silos and tanks, polyester silos, big bag unloading stations and sackcloth silos.
Kaak is unusual in combining technical maintenance with cleaning. The technician who cleans sees where maintenance is needed and carries it out immediately. One specialist does both jobs, so there is no need for several trips to the same site, and your production stops for the shortest possible time.

Outdoor storage silo

Big bag storage and unloading
For storing big bag raw materials a big bag silo is supplied, into which the entire contents can be poured. Matching the silo contents of 1,900 to 6,000 litres to the daily requirement means supply can be done during the day shift, reducing the number of full-time employees required.
- Supply is carried out by means of a big-bag hoist
- Where height is limited, an unloading station with connected plug conveying is used

Stainless steel liquid storage tanks
Stainless steel storage tanks are produced for liquid products such as yeast, desem, syrups, jelly and brine. They are manufactured from high-quality stainless steel and are especially suitable for the food industry.

The universal liquid BVM installation
The universal liquid BVM installation doses grease and water based enhancing agents. The ingredients are delivered in containers, which can be set up in the raw materials warehouse.
- Enhancing agents with a static viscosity from 0.11 to 3
- Applicable at ambient temperatures from 15 to 30 °C
- The density is around 1.0 kg/dm³
- CIP cleanable: designed so an external CIP installation can be connected, with components suitable for CIP cleaning
- Because proteins are handled they leave a biofilm on components and pipes; research has shown CIP cleaning is necessary
