Horizontal Dough Mixers
A horizontal mixer treats dough differently from a spiral: the bowl stays still and the mixing arms turn the dough on a horizontal axis. The kneading is firm but the dough does not tear, which is why these mixers are chosen for doughs that will be opened thin.
Fillo, strudel, puff pastry, croissants, pizza dough, rolls, frozen dough and bread all run on the same body. The machines are in use in many countries, among them the United Kingdom, France, Sweden, Greece, Turkey, the Middle East, Egypt, the United States, Canada and Australia.
