Instant Pasta Lines
A ready-to-eat dish that is done in three minutes and simple to cook. A natural alternative to traditional pasta for quick meals at the office, the gym, at school or on the move.
If you already have a dry pasta line you do not need to buy a new one. With Italpast technology an existing line, whatever its capacity, can be converted to produce instant pasta as well. The line keeps producing traditional dry pasta.
- Converting an existing line costs less than buying a new one
- Italpast technicians check whether your line is compatible and adaptable
- The conversion is done in a short time and production starts quickly
- Instant pasta plants have also been installed alongside other manufacturers' lines
- Lines with automatic dryers can be converted too
The stages of the line
What separates instant pasta from traditional pasta is the pre-cooking stage. The rest is familiar.
Converting an existing line
For producers who already have a dry pasta line. While the line is modernised and expanded, traditional production carries on and instant pasta capacity is added on top.
- Cheaper than buying a new line
- The line is checked technically for compatibility first
- Production starts in a short time
- Italpast has been building these plants for years; technical support comes with the conversion

- independent of the line capacity
- Production
- traditional and instant, on the same line

Steam pre-cooking
The defining stage of the line. The product is heat treated with steam on special thermoplastic nets. Steam is distributed through a tested steaming group, and the degree of gelatinisation is controlled exactly.
